Candle base is wood coaster with pu coating, follow guidelines below for safety. Handmade in our studio in 🇨🇦. Can be used for hot or cold drinks after candle has been completed.

Extra care should be taken when cleaning the coasters- never put in a dishwasher and clean using only a damp cloth. Padded feet on the bottom for furniture protection.
Wood's Vulnerability:
Wood is flammable and can easily ignite when exposed to a prolonged heat source like a candle. 
  • PU's Protective Role:
    Polyurethane (PU) is a type of sealant that is applied to the wood to make it more resistant to moisture and heat. It can help to protect the wood from damage and reduce the risk of fire.

    Even with a PU coating, the coaster should be moved or rotated periodically to prevent overheating and potential damage. 
  • Safety Precautions:
